We are proud to announce the Techaide Soccer Tournament<\/strong> to benefit Centraide of Greater Montreal will be back on Friday, June 3<\/strong>, 2022, at Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard in Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a year of break, we are ready to get back to the court and give it all in support of a good cause. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Techaide<\/strong> initiative to give back to Centraide of Greater Montreal<\/strong>, in support of the 350 local agencies that fight poverty and social exclusion every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tournament details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Soccer players of all skill levels are welcome to join this friendly competition between Montreal tech companies. For this third edition, the number of participating teams has been increased to 32 who will compete in two leagues – recreational<\/strong> and competitive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams of 7 players will go head-to-head in an outdoor soccer tournament. Teams can have up to 5 substitutions with unlimited player combinations. Matches are played on a small field, with one intermission of 16 minutes. Each team must have at least one (1) female player on the field at all times. Techaide supports participation and inclusion in all its events. It\u2019s important for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fundraising<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To participate in the tournament, each team is then encouraged to organize a fundraising campaign with a goal of $1,000 or more. The funds raised are donated directly to Centraide of Greater Montreal. To help you, feel free to review the tips and tricks for successful fundraising<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. This receipt will be issued in the name of the person or company that registered the donation. Registration No.: 11884 2517 RR0001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
