Techaide Beach Volleyball Tournament<\/p><\/h1><\/div>

The Techaide beach volleyball tournament<\/a> is a recreational and friendly tournament. It will take place on Friday June 14, 2024. In the event of heavy rain, the tournament will be postponed to June 20.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n 09:00 am \u2014 Welcome of the teams, words of welcome, reminder of the rules 09:30 am \u2014 Start of morning matches<\/p>\n 12:00 pm \u2014 Lunch break<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 12:45 pm \u2014 Afternoon matches 4:00 pm \u2014 Prize giving and closing<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The matches are played at Volleyball Celtique<\/a>. Net height: 2m 35 \u2013 7 courts of 8 x 16 meters.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If it is very windy or too sunny, teams can change sides at any 7 points. The captains must agree at the start of the match.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The matches are 2 series of 21 points each. If time permits, a third set may be played for recreational purposes only, without it being counted in the final score. Players should pay attention to the time and ensure that they are not at risk of being late for their next match if they choose to play a third set.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is crucial that teams begin their scheduled matches on time and are not delayed due to playing additional sets. In the event that there is insufficient time to complete the<\/p>\n <\/p>\n second set, the leading team will be declared the winner. A tie in the second set will be resolved by a final point.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For all matches, points will be awarded as follows:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The ranking is established according to the number of victories and in the event of a tie the number of sets won will be used. If the tie persists, the ratio of won\/lost points will decide the winners.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Teams of 4 on the field with up to 6 substitutes for a total of 10 players maximum.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Matches last approximately 40 minutes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Yes! A Centraide team will be on site to collect them. You can make donations by credit card through Square, by check or in cash.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n For environmental reasons, we recommend that you bring your reusable water bottle. There is access to a water fountain on site.
